If a person dies suddenly, or accidentally then the police must be called.
If a person dies in hospital or a nursing or care home, the fully trained staff will advise you of the next step. Once we have been contacted, our Funeral Director will guide you through the rest of the arrangements.

When the doctor has visited the deceased person, a death certificate will be issued. This document will be required to register the death with The Registrar of Births, Marriages and Deaths.
The Funeral Director will be able to tell you which office you should attend, and the opening hours applicable.
The Registrar will then issue you with a Certificate of Death and copies as required, together with a Green Form which will form part of the paperwork required by the Funeral Director.
The registration is normally carried out by the next of kin, a close relative or in some cases a friend
